We all feel compelled to keep up
And I have tales to tell but I get bored
If it's the attention I need to keep
I have to find the will to interpret the meek

And I address this statement to the audience
But the audience is non existent
So there must be something wrong with this picture
Or maybe not

It takes time and time flies by
Too quick to get a grasp at solidarity
Too fast to catch anything with substance
I feel overwhelmed with stress most times

And I have all the calls to make but I get distracted
If it's a direction I need to take
I have to find the error in my mistake
I need to re evaluate

I address these problems to the audience
But the audience is just not present
So there must be something wrong with the past
Or maybe not
