Only 16, Brooklyn’s own Tevonne "T.E.V" Hemmans, has his mind and his feet on the right track to success in multiple areas: in track and field, soccer, school, the studio, and in fashion, creating designs for his clothing line, "Creative Boys Culture" (C.B.C.). The pressure to succeed in all of these endeavors is not too much for this "A" student to balance. He's been doing it since the age of 10. "I wouldn't mind being a track star, but being a rap star is [probably] more fun. I'm going to be hot anyway, just on a different kind of track." His music mentor and producer Banannaz, has helped T.E.V. develop a sound that's unlike anything currently on radio. When listening to songs like "Slide N Pick It Up", and "Coming Back", you can hear that sound- its fun, youthful, and full of pop energy. If one word could describe it, it would indeed be "bananas". Influenced by such artists as Pharrell, N.E.R.D. and Lupe Fiasco, as well as the skateboard culture, T.E.V. expresses in his music what he believes to be the most important part of his style- being "creative". "I named my clothing line "Creative Boys Culture" (C.B.C.), [because] I want everyone that rocks with my movement to live it, not just wear it." http://myspace.com/creavtiveboytev Contact: jugglerboymusic@gmail.com
